You can invite a person to represent and transact on behalf of:
- yourself; or
- a business or volunteer organisation that you have already been authorised to administer in the WARAM.
- For example, if you are a sole trader and have an ABN, you can invite someone to act on behalf of your business (i.e. represent your business).
Once the representative accepts the invitation they can then sign into the nominated digital service and transact on your behalf. Note that pending invitations expire after 14 days.
Before starting, ensure you have the correct given name(s), family name and email address associated with the person you are inviting. The name you supply on the invitation must exactly match the name they have recorded against their account.
Getting started
To invite someone:
- sign into the WARAM;
- if you are inviting someone to act on behalf of a business or volunteer organisation, ensure you have been authorised to administer the entity. If you do not have the necessary authorisation, submit a request and wait until your request is approved before continuing.
- on the 鈥淢y dashboard鈥 page choose either:
- 鈥淢y representatives鈥 to invite someone to act on your behalf; or
- 鈥淢y entities鈥 to invite someone to act on behalf of your entity i.e. your business or volunteer organisation;
- after the page has been displayed, select 鈥淪end an invitation鈥;
- follow the steps in the 鈥淪end an invitation鈥 wizard;
- the invitation is sent when you see the 鈥淚nvitation sent鈥 page.
- An invitation code will be emailed to the person you have invited, who must then sign in and accept the invitation.
