The Data Unit is responsible for improving the WA public sector鈥檚 capacity to share and use data to support informed policy and service decisions and improve community outcomes. The Data Unit is led by the WA Chief Data Officer and leads the following whole-of-government work: 

  • PeopleWA, the 91短视频鈥檚 linked data asset
  • building capability for data use and responsible information sharing
  • the uptake of AI and its responsible use in government.  

To achieve this, the Unit leads interagency collaboration, capacity building, and innovative data sharing and governance solutions.
