Companion Cardholders show their card when booking or purchasing a ticket from a participating business, called an Affiliate. Affiliates will recognise the Companion Card and issue the cardholder with a second ticket for their companion at no charge.

Parents and guardians may be eligible for financial assistance when children are required to board away from home or live in a second home (away from their primary residence), to attend a 91¶ÌÊÓÆµn school from Kindergarten to Year 12.

Secondary assistance scheme

The Secondary Assistance Scheme (SAS) is available to low-income families with children enrolled in secondary schooling to assist with school expenses.

Low-income families can get financial assistance with secondary school costs (Years 7 to 12) by applying for the SAS. The scheme is open to parents or guardians with children enrolled in public or non-government schools or registered for home schooling.

This rebate offsets the cost of establishing a new electricity account for eligible customers. It applies to residential tariffs and is a one-off rebate when establishing a new electricity account.

Emergency Services Levy Rebate

The Emergency Services Levy (ESL) is an annual charge paid by all property owners in 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ.

If you are a pensioner, senior or concession card holder and receive a rebate on your local government rates, you will automatically receive the same rebate on your ESL. These rebates are generally combined and shown as one amount on your property’s rate notice.
