The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation released a discussion paper, Implementing a lightweight single-use plastic bag ban in 91¶ÌÊÓƵ, on 20 December 2017 for an eleven week public comment period.
The consultation process included an invitation to provide written submissions, an online survey, a series of public information sessions and meetings with stakeholders.
