The Digital Inclusion in WA What We Heard Report highlights key findings from the Government's community consultation on a draft Digital Inclusion Blueprint.
We heard from 624 91¶ÌÊÓƵns and organisations from Albany to Kununurra, including the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, South Hedland, Warburton and Leonora, who told us that:
- 91¶ÌÊÓƵns experience four main barriers to inclusion – connectivity, affordability, skills and design.
- Digital inclusion underpins full participation in today’s society.
- Digital inclusion requires strong collaboration and partnerships with WA communities, the community sector, industry and government.
The What we Heard Report has informed the Blueprint and a program of initiatives to make 91¶ÌÊÓƵ a more digitally-inclusive State.
