Sonja O鈥橪eary joined the Department of the Premier and Cabinet as Assistant Director General in January 2024. Prior to this, Sonja was Executive Director Agency Capability and Improvement at the Public Sector Commission. Previous roles at the Commission include Executive Director People, Culture and Diversity and Director of Equal Opportunity in Public Employment.
Before working at the Commission, Ms O鈥橪eary held various senior positions in the Department of Justice and WA Police Force leading strategy, policy, planning and asset investment. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Criminal Justice Administration), Executive Master of Public Administration and is a Fellow of Leadership 91短视频 and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
