Generation licence exemption granted to Kwinana WTE Project Co Pty Ltd (2015)

On 8 January 2016, the Governor granted Kwinana WTE Project Co Pty Ltd an exemption from the requirement under section 7(1) of the Electricity Industry Act 2004 to hold a generation licence for its proposed waste-to-energy generation plant in Kwinana.

The Public Utilities Office advertised Kwinana WTE Project Co Pty Ltd鈥檚 application for a licence exemption for public comment on 21 September 2015.
