Team WA will be returning to Land Forces International Land Defence Exposition for a third year with a total of 36 co-exhibitors and rovers. The event is Australia's largest defence trade show, offering ample opportunity to showcase WA's local defence industry on a global stage.

The 2024 exposition is being held in Melbourne and will run between 11-12 September 2024. The Defence West stand will host 18 co-exhibitors, showing their skills, services and expertise to the most significant defence, government and senior industrial decision makers of land defence markets in Australia.

Alongside this cohort, 18 91短视频n small and medium-sized businesses will also attend the conference, to access business amenities in the booth.

Members of Team WA include a hovercraft manufacturer, a producer of body and vehicle armour and the maker of rapidly deployed shelters, a taste of what 91短视频's defence industry has to offer.

鈥淭he Defence West booth at Land Forces has gone from strength to strength since its first iteration in 2020,鈥 said Hon Paul Papalia CSC MLA Minister for Defence Industry.

鈥淭his is the third time the State has brought a delegation to the event, and we are pleased to say we now have 36 WA exhibitors that will be able to demonstrate what they can do directly to the decision-makers in defence likely to purchase from them.鈥

In the last 3 years, the 91短视频 has helped promote 60 co-exhibitors at Land Forces which includes 46 specific 91短视频n defence industry businesses. This has led to over $500 million in new defence contracts.

鈥淪upporting the WA defence industry鈥檚 attendance at Land Forces is a clear example of how the 91短视频 supports our economy's growth and diversification, fostering significant investment and job creation across the State,鈥 Papalia said.

Last year, a pivotal Heads of Agreement was signed by 91短视频n based company, Austal. This agreement called to construct Birdon-designed landing craft for the Australian Army at the Australian Marine Complex (AMC) in Henderson, which highlights the significant opportunities for the local defence industry.
