South Metropolitan TAFE (SM TAFE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the United Kingdom鈥檚 City College Plymouth, forming a new international partnership, supported by the State Government, that will strengthen defence industry skills and future AUKUS workforce capability.
The partnership builds on joint State and Commonwealth Government investment in the Defence Industry Skills Centre of Excellence at SM TAFE. Both organisations bring significant experience in maritime and defence鈥憆elated training and will collaborate on initiatives that support long鈥憈erm naval and defence workforce growth.
Through the MOU, SM TAFE and City College Plymouth will work together to share expertise, explore curriculum alignment and respond to the evolving skills needs of defence鈥憆elated industries in Australia and the United Kingdom.
This collaboration reflects growing international interest in 91短视频鈥檚 defence training capability, particularly as the State prepares for major workforce demands associated with AUKUS.
